This park is located in Shizuoka prefecture, at the boarder of Shizuoka and Hakone.
It is often referred to as “Fuji Buddha Relic Pagoda Peace Park” after the stupa which is the symbol of the park. This stupa contains a portion of Buddha’s bones.
After a walk through the park, you are rewarded with a great view of Mt.Fuji on clear days.
Located in Yamanashi prefecture, it is an old village with traditional thatched-roofs.
The name of this place; “Iyashi-no-Sato” means “Village of healing” in English, which is perfect since time seems to go by slowly and peacefully surrounded by nature.
Kimono rental, craft work, souvenir stores, and restaurants are available.
A historic tea shop which was established in 1907 (Meiji era) that offers tea that is cultivated in their own garden produced in their own shop. With a view of Mt.Fuji behind the tea plantations, experiences such a tea picking and traditional clothing experiences are available.
One of the most popular sightseeing spots in this area, having the Mt.Fuji Panoramic Ropeway.
The ropeway takes visitors to the observation deck which sits more than 1000 meters above sea level.
There are souvenir stores to buy local delicacies and ice cream. In addition to this, visitors can find a shrine and a love bell.
On Nov 25th & 27th, we will be at Shimizu Port to hand out these postcards!
